Sunrise Day Camp: Sunrise Day Camps are proud members of the Sunrise Association, whose mission is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings worldwide. Sunrise accomplishes this through the creation and oversight of welcoming, inclusive summer day camps, year-round programs and in-hospital recreational activities, all offered free of charge.
Sunrise has 3 full summer day camps in the Metro NY area: Long Island, Pearl River (Rockland County), and Staten Island.
A Freebird Organization – Supports children battling cancer and other chronic illnesses through the therapeutic arts
A Moment of Magic – Arranges visits to children’s hospitals dressed as the world’s most popular princesses (nationwide)
