I live in San Diego, California and I have a brother, Trevor (age 16). I love to play with &#8220;girly&#8221; LEGO toys and I love drawing and dancing. We are an artistic family. My dad is a full time musician so I get to perform with him often. One time\u00a0Miley Cyrus visited the hospital and instead of entertaining me, I actually\u00a0sang to her (it made her cry).\u00a0I want to be\u00a0an actress and a singer when I grow up.<\/p>\n<p>At age 6, I was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma.<\/p>\n<p>As a Candlelighters NYC kid, my favorite experiences include performing at the Hero Celebration and watching <em>Beauty and the Beast<\/em> at the movie theater. I&#8217;m also looking forward to the next 4th of July in NYC! My parents\u00a0say they love that we get to feel like we have family in NYC. Barbara and the volunteers provide a special support that delivers smiles, hugs and much needed love and support.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8230;And my family uses these words to describe Candlelighters NYC: Resourceful, fun, helpful, comforting, family<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Click\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/candlelightersnyc.org\/CNYC\/donate\">here<\/a>\u00a0to donate to Candlelighters NYC in honor of Julia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m 8 years old.
